Always have
A PLAN
for dinner

No more scrambling
at the last minute.

No more endless scrolling
through food blogs
with recipes your family won’t eat.

Don’t burn yourself out
on one Instagram-worthy dinner,
and then wing it for the rest of the week.

At the end of the day, aren’t you meant to relax and unwind with your family?

A Meal Planning System
Based on YOU

You’re the expert on your family: you know what works and doesn’t, including what everyone likes to eat!

You set the priority: crowd-pleasing? fast? easy? from scratch? economical? vegetarian? You choose.

Welcome to IN Balance Menu Creation

We take what you know and want for your family’s dinnertime experience
and turn it into a system that you can use over and over again!

A meal planning system that…

  • Shifts with you week-to-week based on how heavy work or home life is

  • Includes chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, quinoa and broccoli (if you want)- and calls them morally neutral

  • Takes into account your gluten-free son, meat-loving partner, and daughter’s 6:00pm basketball practice

  • Is designed for whole humans, not idealized robots

Collaborate with a Dietitian

Hey, let me help you!

I’m Erin, a dietitian and mom of 3. I’ve been helping women make food decisions for 14+ years. I’m here to help you find ease with food so that you can focus on what matters most.

The IN Balance Menu Program originated from my personal experience of learning how to feed my growing family.

Back in 2016, finding meals for myself as a vegetarian, my meat-loving husband and my new picky toddler felt like solving an impossible puzzle every week. I needed a system. Can you relate?

Feeding a family is just different.

I created and revised my menu system over the years until I found the most sustainable balance of structure and flexibility. Now I’m here to share it with you.

Menu Creation includes:

A virtual 1-on-1 meeting with me, Erin!

I don’t just hand you a list of recipes…

Together, we “Marie-Kondo” your meals and get to the bottom of your toughest dinner challenge.

Meal Planning for Real Life

This program was made with you in mind if:

  • You’re responsible for feeding a family most nights.

  • You want more structure and less day-of dinner decisions.

  • Planning is not necessarily a strength for you and you would like dinnertime to feel less chaotic.

  • You’re looking for a strategy for picky eaters, busy evenings, and/or how to actually follow through with a menu plan.

  • You want a non-diet approach: a way of eating that isn’t focused on taking out specific foods, but rather eating a variety and an amount that feels good.

  • You aren't an “amazing cook: This system meets you where you’re at…whether you have a cookbook full of recipes you’re comfortable with, or your go-to strategy is sliding a tray of frozen items into the oven.

This isn’t for everyone, and that’s ok! We may not be a good fit if:

  • You don’t typically cook for others.

  • You’re looking for a meal plan that tracks your macros or fits a highly-specialized diet.

  • You don’t want to invest time into co-creating the menu.

  • You thrive in chaos and want to create something new for dinner most nights.

  • You struggle with an eating disorder and don’t have a treatment team yet.

 FAQs

  • If you choose a Menu Template, you’ll receive instant access to a pre-made 6-week rotating menu.

With the Menu Creation program, you’ll receive your customized menu 3-4 weeks after signing up to allow time for your 2-week data collection and my putting everything together just for you.

  • Nope! The menu system is composed of a total of about 30-40 meal ideas. This includes 3-4 meals each week that are reused every 6 weeks, plus a “meal library” to fill in the other days of the week.

I teach you how to include variations within each meal idea by using different sauces, sides, and swapping ingredients to keep it fresh.  I also give tips on how to find new recipes to sub in after you’ve used your menu for a while.

  • I’m credentialed through IAEDP as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, so there’s no triggering diet talk here! The menus contain all the food groups found in a typical meal plan or guide.

Please note, this is NOT a substitute for eating disorder treatment, but an add-on tool. It’s recommended you follow the advice of your treatment team.

  • Due to the flexible nature of the menu, I’m unable to provide a shopping list for you each week.

I’ve included a video and tips on how to make grocery lists within the program. Most of my clients comment on how much faster list-making is when they have a menu in place.

  • The IN Balance Menu Program is not considered Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). The meals are based on general good nutrition for all, including plenty of vegetables, grains, proteins, and essential fats.

If you’re interested in more specifics, book a 1-on-1 nutrition counseling appointment with me!

Feel secure
that
you’ve got a plan
of perfectly ordinary dinners
tonight and all week,
along with a system to depend on
for years to come.
